4 Days Mugahinga National Park

Head to the southwestern part of Uganda to locate the famous mgahinga national park that has the Nyakagezi gorilla group and top most Uganda’s golden monkeys.so you will gladly engage in activities like trekking the rare mountain gorillas and the fascinating golden monkeys.

Day 1: Pick up and transfer to Mgahinga.
Day 2: Gorilla trekking in Mgahinga Forest
Day 3: Golden Monkey Trekking In Mgahinga
Day 4: Transfer to Entebbe International Airport

Day 1: Pick up and transfer to Mgahinga National Park
A pick from your hotel in Entebbe by our driver guide who will give you an overview of your safari. Then drive to Mgahinga National Park in southwestern Uganda with some stopovers at Mpambire royal drum makers to witness how drums are made from skins and wood.Then proceed to the Equator crossing. Youwill stop in Mbarara town for lunch. There after lunch take a scenic drive to Kisoro district, you will have views of the rolling hills of Kabale to terraced hills and meandering roads to KisoroDistrict. On arrival at the park check in at the accommodation for relaxation, dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking In Mgahinga Forest 
The driver will take you to Mgahinga National Park headquarters for briefing after breakfast and having carried your packed lunch and drinking water, you will then lead to the forest to search for the mountain gorillas with accompaniment of the rangers. Once you find Nyakagezi Family, you are allowed one hour with the gorillas and there after the trekking activity, return back to the Lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Golden Monkey Trekking In Mgahinga National Park
Have breakfast, then drive to Mgahinga National Park headquarters for either full day golden monkey habituation experience or half day golden monkey trekking. Briefing about the dos and don’ts while with golden monkeys will take place and then head to the forest for your golden monkey trek. You are allowed enough time in case you are engaging in the golden monkey experience and only one hour if you are engaging in the golden monkey trekking. Return to  lodge for relaxation, dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Transfer to Entebbe International Airport
Marking the end of the safari gorilla and golden monkey trekking in mgahinga national park   will be today when you wake up have an early morning meal. Then be on the road to head to Kampala with lunch en-route then on arrival you will be dropped at the airport.
